Admission to the University

Prospective students entering the bachelor, master or doctoral program at this university must meet the entry requirements according to the University Laws and Regulations-by either passing the university entrance exam or the specific screening process.
Students enter the undergraduate program in one of the following methods:

  1. acceptance based on the University Joint Entrance Exam scores,
  2. has obtained superior credentials on subjects of basic science,
  3. has met the entrance standard set by the Ministry of Education as overseas Chinese students,
  4. selected by specific screening process, or
  5. registered at another institution and passed the transfer exam.

Students enter graduate programs by passing the graduate school entrance exams. Undergraduate students with excellent grades are eligible to apply for the specific screening process to enter the relevant Master's Degree programs. Students with the Master's Degree and existing standards are eligible to apply for the Doctor's Degree programs.

Applications of foreign students are also accepted. Foreign students are considered for entrance into the undergraduate program, Master's programs, or PhD programs with submission of complete application materials, these include application forms, copies of diploma, recommendation letters, health examination certificate, study proposal, and certificate of language capability (Chinese proficiency in listening, reading, and writing). The applications are accepted between February 1 and April 30. Applications received after April 30 will be returned without formal evaluation.
